Personally, I love pop art. It jumps out at you and makes you look at things in a different perspective. It was first introduced to the world in the 1950's in London. The word "pop art" was used to describe, "all post-war work centered on consumerism and materialism, and that rejected the psychological allusions of Abstract Expressionism." (http://wwar.com/masters/movements/pop_art.html).
Pop Art is simple everyday objects. Comic strips, billboards, commercial products, and celebrity images are made more appealing to the eye. It is used as an attention grabber.
Pop Art is an original and different form of art. Sure how hard is it to just copy a picture a couple times in different colors? But when you look at it, you notice that it is much more then just copies. It gives you a different perspective of each picture. Not everyone in the world sees things the same way.
